In the Betaflight Configurator, you can use the Modes tab to decide how your copter reacts to certain switches or sliders on your transmitter. Each mode is assigned to a channel (AUX1, AUX2, etc.) and is activated within a specific switch range.
The channel numbers depend on how your transmitter is set up. Usually, AUX channels beyond channel 4 are reserved for switches.
General Procedure:
- Turn on your transmitter and open the Modes tab in Betaflight.
- Select a mode from the list, e.g., ARM.
- Click Add Range.
- Move the desired switch on your transmitter—the corresponding AUX channel will move in the display.
- Adjust the yellow range with your mouse so it covers the switch position you want.
Repeat this for all the modes you want and don’t forget to save.
