• Choose location: Open field without people, animals, or obstacles.
  • Check the copter: Propellers tight and correctly mounted, battery securely attached.
  • Check Betaflight settings: Make sure radio signal, flight modes, and failsafe are active.
  • Plug in battery: Place the drone on a flat surface to let the gyros calibrate.
  • Test radio connection: Move the sticks, verify channels respond correctly, ensure the arm switch works.
  • Enable Angle Mode: Keeps the drone stable for the first lift-off.
  • Test safety functions: Trigger the beeper and test failsafe on the ground.
  • Motor check: After arming, all motors should spin smoothly and evenly.
  • Increase throttle slowly: Lift the drone a few centimeters and hover.
  • Land gently: Reduce throttle, hover 4–5 cm above the ground, then disarm immediately.
  • Remove battery: Only then put the drone aside.
